Digital show experience: world premiere of the e-tron S prototypes
After the cancellation of the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, we brought the world premiere of the new e-tron S prototypes from the stage to the world wide web. The biggest challenge: stir up emotions with a purely digital production and generate buzz for the new products.
Internet and social media follow different rules than a live event. Corporate content becomes online entertainment. And brands are advancing to entertainment companies that suddenly find themselves in competition with companies from other industries, video-on-demand services and TV stations.
Attention is drawn to those who surprise and delight people. Especially when many virtual events take place simultaneously (like here after the sudden cancellation of Geneva Motor Show). This works best with spectacular content and in small bites. And that's exactly what we did.
