Project Details

The trade fair year traditionally ends with the Paris Motor Show. But AUDI AG swims against the tide. Instead of bringing the year to a close, the Ingolstadt-based company is turning the trade fair in Paris into a lighthouse project. Digitization and connectivity create completely new possibilities and lead to a radical change in the automotive industry. New players such as Tesla, Apple, Google and Chinese players such as Alibaba and Baidu are entering the market with bold ideas. The trade fair appearance in Paris follows a clear communicative objective. It was entirely dedicated to the topic of digitization and connectivity. The brand identity thus became a clear statement to make Audi the leading digital car company: with electronics, IT, apps and digital services as core competencies. 
The architectural framework for this was formed by a floating digital cloud over the exhibition stand. The media grid extended to approx. 2,500 square meters and integrated approx. 7,000 LED tiles. This made it possible to make data streams visible and to map the topics of digitization and connectivity across the entire exhibition stand. In this fully digital and interactive showroom, Audi presented the future of the company to international representatives from the media and press.
